I saw The Lost Boys in french class 2 years agos.  It was a really weird movie (that whole hanging off the bridge thing was just...creepy) to say the least.  Don't get me wrong, it was a good 80's movie.  But boy, it had 80's written all over it.   :D

Interview with a vampire was my favorite but Gary Oldham did a good Dracula also.  I think Lost Boys was more comic than scary.

Keeping with the 80s vampire movies, what about 'Vamp'? I quite liked that film.

"80's written all over it",  That was kinda the point!  It was made in 1987 after all.  :)   ;D

I remember seeing The Lost Boys in the theater with my older brother and cousin when I was around 8 or 9 years old.  Some of the scenes scared the pants off me, especially at that age.  This was one of the best movies of 1987.

This movie was WAY AHEAD of it's time in several areas.  Filming style, cinematography, and just the whole gothic teen vampire thing.  It wasn't until 1997 that it really took off again with the Buffy the Vampire Slayer TV show.

:)

Though Lost Boys was the best of the bunch, I loved Fright Night. Anyone remember that?

Lost Boys was a good flick, and Cory Feldman was funny but can't say the same for Bordello of Blood, had some funny moments.  Anyone seen it? Cory turned into a vampire who appeared to be in drug withdrawal, not funny or scary, his band is'nt very good either.

I actually went to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk about a month ago.  Being there totally rinded me of the Lost Boys so I watched it again.  Still so good.  The dirt bike scenes rule.

I own that movie and I watch it constantly because I love vampire type movies. Corey Haim and Corey Feldman were my favorite actors in that movie.

The Lost Boys is one of my favorite movies.......I loved all the actors in it....How about the scene when they vamp out on those kids dancing to Walk This Way on the Beach.....I'm not too crazy about that scene......It is kind of gross.......My favorite part in that movie is definitely at the end when they are getting ready for the vampires....I even actually have the soundtrack to that movie somewhere......I love all the songs in that movie......and yes the movie has 80s written all over it.

I know no one has posted on this thread for a while, but I saw the name and had to add my two cents.  I LOVE The Lost Boys.  I've seen it at least 200 times and can quote the whole movie word for word.  This was also the time I was going through my Kiefer Sutherland phase.  This movie was way too cool.  I kept hoping they'd make a sequel and David would come back and be the ultimate vampire.   ;D

I love the lost boys. It had its scary moments, but it was also very cool movie.  8)
I thought Once Bitten was hilarious too (w/ Lauren Hutton and Jim Carrey).
My Best Freind is a funny one too. I like how they opened that movie w/ the homage to Risky Business.

The Lost Boys was definitely one of my favorites the year it came out.  My friends and I really got into it and saw it about 10 times when it was in the theater.  I always thought that Jason Patric was really hot in it, even with the mullet.  ;D
