Heh heh! I guess we are going to need a seperate section for the onslaught of these type of threads in the future.  ;)

Power ballads on a 16 track CD - Erm . . . O.K

1. 'Nothings gonna stop us now' - Starship
2. 'I knew you were waiting' - George Michael/Aretha Franklin
3.  'Kyrie' - Mr. Mister
4. 'Glory of love' - Peter Cetera
5. 'St Elmo's Fire (man in motion)' - John Parr
6. 'You're the voice' - John Farnham
7. 'Alone' - Heart
8. 'All out of love' - Air Supply
9. 'I want to know what love is' - Foreigner
10. 'Room in your heart' - Living in a box
11.  'Hold me now' - Johnny Logan
12. 'Total Eclipse of the heart' - Bonnie Tyler
13. 'On the wings of love' - Jeffrey Osborne
14. 'Jessie's Girl' - Rick Springfield
15. 'And we danced' - The Hooters
16. 'I've done everything for you' - Sammy Hagar

Not sure whether some of these qualify as power ballads but they seem to fit together.

Hi Bobby

Love your choice of:
'You're the voice' - John Farnham

I think this definitely qualifies as a power ballad.  How do you know this one.  Was it a hit in the UK?

Cheers. :)

Yes it was Jaytee. I think it hit the top 10 back in 1987. I first heard it on a tape my dad owned and thought it was great. The bagpipes (I think they are bagpipes) halfway through was quite a daring instrument to use. It worked well.

Thanks.  :)

yes they were indeed bagpipes and when John performs the song in concert at least one piper always comes out on stage for that bit - its awesome.
