How about something like a spawn of old school MTV. Like "I Want My 1980s". LOL :) Or how about "Flashback to the 80s" or "Get into the 80s" I dunno. Just play around with song titles or movie titles and put "80s" in the title. I am sure you'll get something.

Make something of that great 80's saying "Whoever dies with the most stuff wins"

Can't think of anything off the top of my head but you might be able to make it into something!

Hey, I had a good 80's party a while back.  I put ORIGINAL MTV programming from the early 80's a TV as a backdrop.  These were recorded on VHS in 1982, 83 and 84.  BIG HIT!  Really took people down memory lane.

The recordings are several consecutive hours of original MTV broadcast hosted by the VJs (JJ Jackson, Martha Quinn, Mark Goodman etc.).  They've got great nostalgia including vintage commercials, music news, concert tour dates, etc.  A good reminder of the fashions and hairstyles of the time too.  They also really break loose some memories if you were in your teens or twenties when this aired.

When is your party?  If you like I can see if I can hook you up with a copy or two for the cost of the materials and shipping.

Good luck!

I like "I Want My 80s"

Another idea might be the "Ronald Reagan Inauguration Ball"

mdstrand2 -- Hi, newbie to the board and just saw your post. Wanted to know if I could get in on that offer for some original MTV 80's programming for a party? Shoot me some e-mail to discuss please.

Now You're Playing With 80s Power
The 80s: More Than Meets the Eye
80s in a Half-Shell
The 80s:  Where the Beef Is
Domo Arigato, 1980s(for helping me escape just when I needed to)
Walk Like the 80s
Long Live the 80s

I guess some are more funny than catchy, but if something catches your eye and you want to tweak it a little, feel free to do so.
