A highly underrated band, IMO.  Favorite songs, anyone?

The Time was a very good band, and I must agree highly underrated.  Morris Day stole the show in Purple Rain.  I would have to say my favorite Time song was "Ice Cream Castles."  8)

"Ice Cream Castles" is definitely an awesome song. 8)  I actually quoted it under my avatar, which is the Time album I just got. ;D

Was it the Time that sung "Jerk Out"? Or was that Morris Day solo? That's my favourite song.

Yes, it was The Time who released the song "Jerkout" in 1990. :)

Loved The Time! There's a pic of me in one of my parents' photo albums doing the Morris Day pose (complete with the pointing to the watch and facial expression) from the cover of the What Time Is It? album. I think it was in '82. I was 10 or 11.

Favorites? "Get it Up", "Cool", "Ice Cream Castles", "777-9311" and "Gigolos Get Lonely, Too."
