Does anyone remember a horror movie like this?
I've searched in the RottenTomatoes website for so long and couldn't find anything like it.
I remember a couple of teenagers who get locked in the mall after closing time and the department store mannequins start to come alive? I think that the mannequins or robots? were trying to kill the teens, but for no apparent reason.
This movie scared the crap outta me as I was about 8 or 9 yrs old, but I can't remember the title

i searched on imdb.com and came up with a movie called "tourist trap" it's about a shut-in who uses his telekinetic powers to kill a bunch of teenagers in a wax museum by animating the mannequins. the movie was made in 1979.
is that it?

It was Chopping Mall!
the mannequins were actually security robots that patroled the mall, and intruders were killed.
