Hey does anyone know where I can buy or download the game Tank Wars? The one where there are two tanks, one on opposite sides of the screen and they shoot at each other until one explodes?

Is that the one where there is a town behind the tanks that you have to avoid blowing up? Seem to remember something about the wind speeds and directions as well so that you could set the range on your tank.
Hmmm think I remember playing this game on a BBC Master. I wonder if my previous department at work still has the machine?

Yah you do have to worry about wind speeds and such but I don't remember anything about worrying about a town.

I remember playing this game on the computers at school with my best friend!! There are several versions of Tank Wars at www.shareware.com, just type in tank wars in the search box.
