Subject: hard to find 80's richard-marx like ballad

Written By: scarcito on 10/02/03 at 11:27 a.m.

Hi, I'm looking for this song that I had in an old cassette. It's sounds very 80's, and the voice is ver similar to Richard Marx, but I searched all of his songs and it isn't his. Here's the lyrics, as I heard; maybe my english is not quite good  :) :

My life is not my own
I tried to change it I'm not that strong
This place is not my home
I'm heading somewhere I don't belong

CHORUS:
How I wish that I could see
faith into my destiny
then I wouldn't have to stop myself
asking why am I
Wasting my time
Watching my life pass me by
Wasting my time
Just like climbin up the hill's side
just to fall down. Fall down. Oh yeah.

My life is not my own.
I ask for answers there's no reply
This place is not my home
Another reason ... you say goodbye

How I wish that I could say
that I'm in the better way
then I wouldn't have to stop myself
asking why am I

Wasting my time

Any suggestions? Txs!
