Subject: Irritating jingle is driving me nuts! HELP!

I'm not sure if this is from the 80's or early 90's, but it's utterly destroying me. I can't place the jingle! I don't know how the entire thing goes, what it's from, or even if it was a commercial. WHAT IS IT?! It's not just me...a few people at least recognize the line, but no one seems to know. Please, save me from the insanity...
I've got a tear in my eye...from all those burgers and fries...

it's from McDonald's when they first introduced the BigMac - I got a tear in my ear from the wonderful fries - I got a tear in my eye from a wonderful guy - and if the burger doesn't come fresh on a few buns then maybe i'll just have to put my shorts on and go for a run"
that's what i remember.
