I saw it in 1985, late one night. It was on a Canadian network... CTV I think. I don't think it was on CBC, it didn't seem "CBC-ish" enough.
I just remember how surprised I was to see them (Parachute Club) appear throughout the movie, although they had no lines or active parts. Just some people in the background playing music. The girl was supposed to be some sort of assistant, or gopher, what-have-you.
Actually, the show was pretty lame. But it's one of those niggling little things that sit in the back of your mind until you can remember its name. :)
