Try searching on Google, and definately try looking on Ebay.

Techincally the MC Hammer pants were more of an early 90s thing though, then part of the true 80s.

LMAO - thinking about MC in the 80s, would have been a wacky act!  Definately a 90s thing, and the sucker sure could dance.

No.  Parachute pants were a fad that occured during the 1982/1983-'85 time frame.  They were pants with many pockets and zippers, and they were supposedly made of the same material that parachutes are.  Parachute pants were bonafide 80's.  I think you had to have at least been born no later then 1979, maybey 1980 to remember this fad, because parachute pants were clearly over by 1986.  So most kids born in the 80's would not have been old enough to remember something that was already over by the middle part of the decade.

The M.C. Hammer genie like pants were not a fad at all.  No one but Hammer wore them.  You'd have to have been nuts to put on those flared out Hammer pants.  M.C. wore them back during his heyday of 1990 and 1991.  So it doesn't even qualify as a very late 80's, 1989 thing.  But I have noticed that a lot of early 90's stuff like M.C. Hammer, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and Vanilla Ice constantly get confused as "being 80s".  Usually by kids that were too young to really have been there.  Basically asking such a question is like if a kid in 2013 asked "Wasn't Avril Lavigne popular during the 90's?  To you the answer is obvious, but you realize that to someone younger they are honestly confused because they were too young to really have been there.

comon why even argue about what cultural period he really belongs to? Like any self respecting 80's or 90's lover would ever claim people like New Kids on the Block, MC Hammer, and Vanilla Ice.
