Subject: Classic Nickelodeon

I don't know if this has been a topic before, but I miss old Nickelodeon shows. I haven't seen them since they originally aired, but I can remember them pretty clearly.
I'm talking about...
The Third Eye
The Tomorrow People
Black Beauty
You Can't Do That on Television!
Pinwheel, etc.
There was also a segment they did on Nick, something to do w/ finiding treasure or something. And they showed it from the treasure seeker's viewpoint. And one clue would go to another and it would be written as if pirates had written it.
Anyone remember what that was called??

HA!  There was also "Special Delivery".  Was that the name of it? The one with the Dept. Store and then there was a puppet security guy and I think a mouse...along with Jeff who was a maniquen.  That was on in the afternoon.

Remember the lyrics to Pinwheel?  LOL!  Pinwheel, Pinwheel, spinning around...or something like that.

Dangermouse was one we watched in the evening.

Pinwheel, pinwheel
Spinning around
Look through my pinwheel
and see what I've found.
Pinwheel, pinwheel
Breezy and bright
Spin me good morning and
Spin me good night.
--I used to run around the house and sing that song all the time. I remember the 2 insects one was named Lulu.

I LOVED Special Delivery.

I had seen something on that on tv. She had really short hair (like a boys cut).
I wonder what other stars have come from classic Nick shows??

Jennifer Love Hewitt was on a Nickelodeon show in the early 90's called "Kids Inc", I think that's the name of it anyway

Kids Inc. started out as a Sat morning show and then moved to the Disney channel.
Alot of stars came from that...Scott Wold (who played Jennifer Love Hewitt's love interesting in Party of 5) played her love interest on Kids Inc. Also, Martika was on it. Adrien Zmed, Eric Balfour,Stacy & Renee Ferguson (from Wild Orchid), Ryan Lambert, Mario Lopez, Shanice, just to name a few...
It went through several cast changes (like Menudo) but it started in 1984 and went to 1993

Dear Rubixgirl:

I am 26 now and so when I remember Nick most (around 1982) I was just 5....  and I too remember that Treasure Hunt segment!!  I don't remember much about it except that I always wish I was able to watch it again and see what it is like!  If you get any more details, please send me an email!

I also remember Pinwheel and Plus and Minus, etc.

By the way, last night on eBay I purchased a 6-video set of Today's Special!!  Remember, that was the one with Sam, Muffy, Jeff, etc.?  I can't wait to see that one after all these years!!

Thanks for re-kindling some memories for me!
Brad  :)
