I always called them alligator shirts. ;D

They were made by Izod. The Lacoste thing was the actual manufacturer, but everyone called them Izods. That was the brand name. There were other animals you could get at a cheaper price. Izods were pretty expensive. You could get lions, horses, etc. Of course they weren't genuine Izods, but the people I hung around with didn't really care.
