I am unsure about what year this movie came out. I remember it being about a woman who worked at some sort of home for troubled children. I also remember her getting beaten up by one of the children(think it was a young girl). I thought it was Linda Lavin who was in it but I don't think it is. Please if anyone knows,please tell me. Thank you in advance!  ;D

I think what made the young girl upset had to do something with the fact that her parents weren't going to take her home. I remember the woman had a swollen cheek or swollen jaw beacuse the girl got out of control. I don't think she meant to hurt her but she was trying to calm her down and unfortuately got beat up in the process. I think the woman was kinda afraid to go back but I think she did after they all missed her. I don't remember too much and it's a little hazy because I was a kid when I watched it. This has been bugging me for so long. Thank you for trying.  :D
