I'm going to an 80s prom theme New Year's Eve party and am trying to find some ideas for my boyfriend. I already have my outfit but any suggestions for what he is supposed to wear would be appreciated!

A button up shirt, tie, and slacks comes to mind to me. And funky hair jelled up hair.

Perhaps a neon cummerbun. Anything with some neon would be fantastic. A nice mullet would be a nice touch as well. Of course you could also go Miami Vice with a white suit and some pastels. Oh, the DJ must play Spandau Ballet's True to be a legitimate 80s prom party.
It's required by law or something. :P
