Subject: WHAT DID YOU WATCH??

Happy New Year's all!
I was just wondering, what did you watch during the 80s hehe. I know that I just love those classic cartoons. My favorite is the Flintstones! I think that they should bring more of those back hehe. Hey, does anyone collect classic cartoon stuff?? If you do, I know that Boomerang is giving away a production cel from an episode of the Flintstones signed by Hanna and Barbera if anyone likes that sort of stuff. It's a prize from a Boomerang's sweepstakes up on http://flintstones.getboomerang.com so maybe one of ya will win! hehe. Anywho, who else likes the Flintstones or have another favorite??  :)

Fraggle Rock was an awesome show, even though I don't think it counts as a cartoon...what are you supposed to call shows with puppets anyway?!

I used to love watching the Flintstones! Also has somewhat of an adult taste too, does anyone remember the HBO satire "Not nessacarily the news"? Used to crack me up as a kid  :D. But still watched a lot of "kids shows" like: You can't do that on television, Looney Tunes (loved the road runner ones, especially), Inspector Gadget, Heathcliff, The Great Space Coaster, some show on PBS (I think it was the electric company, but not sure if that was the exact name), and some others I can't remember right now.

Gosh, now Im starting to get a flood of flashbacks (as I always do when I visit this forum).

I liked alot of classic Nickelodeon shows (Pinwheel, Tomorrow People, The Third Eye, You Can't Do That on TV, Today's Special, etc.) I also liked The Electric Company and the GReat Space Coaster. As well as Kids Inc.
As for cartoons, I liked Rainbow Brite, the cartoon version of Punky Brewster, She-ra...I'm sure I'll think of more later. ;)
