Anyone know the name of the sunglasses people used to wear in the 80's that look like Jordi's Visor (from Star Trek)?

Aside from "Ray Bans", I have no immediate memory of other hit brands; though Jordi's were actually inspired by a ladies hair accessory called a "banana clip" according to a "Next Generation" documentary.

There's a shot in Sixteen Candles in which you see a kid wearing the "Jordi" style sunglasses, just a single, narrow, tinted strip set in a plastic frame. Remember the Animotion "Obsession" video? I liked the girl's metal grate style shades. 8)
