Yes, the song was called "I wish I had a Girl Like That" Another one of the many 1 hit wonders of the 80's. Although Henry Lee Sumner was a member of a big band but the name of the band slips my memory right now.

I don't think Henry Lee Summer was in a band. He's from Indiana and I'm pretty sure that he was local or regional before he got his 15 minutes of fame in 1987 or 88. He also had a minor hit (probably top 20) with "Hands On The Radio." If you like John Cougar (Mellencamp), you would probably like his stuff. Not bad, just didn't have much commercial success.
