I got my cat in 1987 and it's still alive in 2004!

Wow...

Somebody here also said that Winston Churchill's pet parrot is still alive, at 104 years of age.  I didn't know that parrots lived that long.

I had a goldfish that lived for 12 years.  He rocked.  8)

I just can't see a parrot at 104 years old. Does it still have all it's beautiful plummage? ???

Lucky you.  My cat from 1984 died in 1999.  Still pretty good for a cat.

8)I had a cat that was about 18 when she died.cats usually live a lot longer than dogs.but i do have a lhasa apso that was born on January 1,1989,who is still alive.she's nearly deaf,but otherwise healthy.cheers!

I just heard that same thing on the radio a couple of weeks ago.  They also mentioned that Churchill had it trained to say "F*ck Hitler", but but you never know what to believe with those morning radio personalities.

Our family got a cat in '84, too. She died in '94.

I got a cat in 1985 but I just lost her this past   Sept.  :'( :'( :'(  She was 18.

My grandfather had a cat that lived to the ripe old age of 21.  The cat outlived him and passed away in 1992.  One of the nicest cats I ever saw... a big white domestic short hair.
