Subject: Don't know the name of the song - please help!!

Written By: ChozenOne on 02/04/04 at 02:00 a.m.

Allright, there's the old song (electronic music, disco), '70 or '80. I hear it occasionally on a disco (probably remixed), and then I freak out, 'cause I love it, but I don't know the name of it. So if you could please just take a sec. and try to figure out what song I'm talking about.

There's nothing but a bass line vibrating throughout the song and then the woman's voice joins. No lyrics though, just simple "aaaaaa-aaaaaa-aaaaaa-aaaaa". The notes progression would go C#, B, A#, B.

If anybody knows or suspect what mumbling I'm please, please let me know. It's killing me...

Regards,
Mike

Goin' out on a limb here...

I have a CD called Pure Disco and there is a song by Donna Summer called "I Feel Love".  It's a re-mix by Rollo & Sister Bliss (Monster Mix Radio Edit, whatever that means!!).  Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but it's the first thing that came to mind.  Even though she's actually  saying "I feel love" over and over she also goes "Ooooh" (or it could be "Ahhhh") over and over as well.  I couldn't tell you what notes she's singing, starts out higher then gets lower.  Boy, it's really hard to describe a song.

Thank you so much Lorac!!! You just made my day and became my local hero!!!

Good guess, the more so just like SmithsGirl wrote, it's kinda hard to describe a song...

Anyway, do you know any other good songs&their remixes??

Regards,
Mike

ps."Feel Love" 24/7 in my WinAmp now ;)

Mike,

Good guess, huh?  Actually, it's the first song that came to mind, so I guess your description was pretty good!

I've never heard of Rollo & Sister Bliss before, so I can't help with other song suggestions, but I do love my "Pure Disco" CD (I can admit that now, since I'm older and don't care what people think!  LOL!!)

rollo and sister bliss are two british producers. They have a band, faithless. Sister bliss is also one the best female djs of the world! This year they will release an new faithless-album. They've released 3 so far, reverence (1995), sunday 9p.m.(1999) and outrospective (2001). Their greatest hit so far is god is a dj! Rollo is mainly the producer and doesn't play with the band, live. Sister Bliss does- on keyboards. They've done several remixes- too many to  name here. Hope this answers enough.. ;D
btw, they are a fantastic live band!! ;)
