Karen rocked. 8) Such a great voice. The anorexia nervosa was a bummer though.
Her voice is in the same range as mine... I can sing 'em all. She also covered many, MANY old Leon Russell tunes, which I can also sing on key.

My sister had anorexia nervosa the same time that Karen Carpenter did. When we heard she died, it really shook us up because the same could have happened to my sister. (Thank God it didn't)...painful memories whenever I hear her songs

My ex-girlfriend nearly died from A.N. Very scary. That was before I knew her. She said she was constantly doing aerobics and high on electrolytes. One day she woke up in intensive care and couldn't remember how she got there.
