My favorite scene is towards the end of the movie when the title song is being played and everyone starts dancing like crazy.  8)

Mine is when Ren is teaching Williard to dance.
A close second is when Ariel talks to the Rev one night about how classical music is ok. To me that was a really sweet scene that shows how she was trying to connect to her dad.

Mine is also when Ren is teaching Willard to dance...I also love the scene where they sneak and cross the border to go to the bar.  And willard won't dance and SJP says "I can;t help myself Willard" and she starts dancing.

I love that whole movie..it's one of my favorites!

I love the whole movie! But if I had to choose one scene,it would be a toss up between the ending dance scene and when Ren dances alone. :D ;D

You're so bad! :D

I like the movie ok. I think one of the scenes I like is when Kevin Bacon is at the town meeting trying to convince the town to let the kids have the dance. That and when he is dancing alone.

I don't like the end of the movie where everyone is dancing, that girl yells too much and it annoys me.

One of my favorite 80s movies.  It was so campy that you have to like it.  Come on now Vile, if there was a Depeche Mode or Smiths song on the soundtrack you would have liked it!    ;D  j/k!   ;D

My favorite scene is where Wren, Willard, and the other guy come out and beat the crap out Chuck and his cronies outside the prom.  Then Wren comes back and says "Let's Dance!"  Classic!

Not necessarily...:D In fact I'd probaby cringe at the fact that Depeche Mode and/or The Smiths would even want to contribute a song to such an awful film! But really...I probably liked it at the time (I was 11-12 when it came out - 1984 right?), but watching it now, I can't stand it. There are lots of 80's films I can still watch (even ones without a single Depeche Mode song on it!), but that one, I just can't.

Speaking of Depeche Mode songs in films (hehehe)...in Say Anything... during the scene where Lloyd takes Diane to that post-graduation party for their "first date"...at some point in amongst other miscellaneous crowd noises, you can hear a girl say, "Come on! Depeche Mode!" several minutes before "Stripped" is finally played. :) Just thought I'd throw that in, even though it's off topic. ;D
