Subject: UK Cartoons

Written By: toonlistguy on 03/21/04 at 01:03 p.m.

Hi.

Just thought I'd advertise Toonlist.co.uk, the site that lists every cartoon ever seen on UK TV, ever.  There are downloadable theme tunes, screen savers, desktop themes, quizzes, messageboard, ooooooh loads of things, including (soon, hopefully,) ringtones.

If you can spot any that I've missed, please let me know, and I'll pay you in chocolate.

A very comprehensive list, Toonlistguy!  :D

There are a few that you could add . . .

Widget: Saturday morning ITV stuff featuring an alien who helps the environment. Showed in the late 80s/early 90s.

Fender Bender 500: A modernised version of Wacky Races that used to show on TV-Am around early 90s. Featured Hanna-Barbera favourites like Snagglepuss.

The New Archies: A cartoon that revamped the old US cartoon of the sixties - featured on ITV Saturday morning.

Will Kwak Kwak: About the adventures of a little duck that would go out playing with his friends. Featured on ITV (I think . . .)

Alfred J Kwak: A kids cartoon shown on Channel 4 chronicling the adventures of another duck that was looked after by a mole - a personal favourite of mine.

Star Street: Another Channel 4 cartoon that followed the adventures of a group of people all personifying the zodiac. They had to battle against these green blobby monsters

The last two featured on Channel 4 around the same time as Sharky and George.
