Written By: katsot on 04/02/04 at 06:02 p.m.

I want to see the band berlin and psych. furs they are playing together for 25.00 dollars and no one will pay that to see them.So that got me thinking what bands would you pay over 25.00 dollars to see.

DEPECHE MODE! With or without Alan Wilder, it doesn't matter (no pun intended). ;D

Other than that, I've already seen my other 80's favourite: Morrissey...which is probably the closest I'll get to seeing The Smiths. I think I'd like to see Duran Duran, too, since I've been a fan of theirs for so long yet have never seen them live.

I would pay that to see:

U2
The Police (or whatever it would cost to get them back together)
The Cars (although it wouldn't be the same without Benjamin Orr)  :(
Duran Duran
Bon Jovi
Journey (with Steve Perry)
Prince
John Mellencamp
Van Halen (Dave or Sammy - doesn't matter)
Depeche Mode
REM
Genesis

Morrisey,

I'm trying desperatley to get tickets because he is going to be here on Apr. 17 at the Joint in the Hard Rock. Radio stations are giving away tickets so I'm going to have to bug the DJ giving them away until I get my hands on a pair!

And if they were still touring I'd also like to see:

Adam and the Ants, or just Adam Ant now
Roxy Music

But I can only see Adam in concert on my DVDs and in my dreams, right? :)

Rio

Good topic!

I just recently saw Def Leppard.
Also I saw REO Speedwagon, Styx, and Journey. One of the best shows I have ever seen.

I also just got my TESLA tickets. There new C.D. is just friggin amazing.

I'd pay to see almost any 80's metal or rock band.

I've spent hundreds of dollars following REO around over the years, and then their tour this last summer, when Styx, Journey, and Ticketmaster were factored in that made it $540 for 8 tix... so I guess that fits that bill  :}  Fortunately that's prolly the only band I'd do that for :}
