Subject: "Fridays" (1980-1983)

Written By: Martin Flemming on 2/1/1999 at 1:47 a.m.

I am looking for as much information on the show "Fridays" (1980-1983) as I can get and am having much difficulty finding anything. So far this ("The Night Andy Kaufman Sabotaged Fridays" Web page) is about the most I've seen on Fridays. Any first-hand accountsof the show , any skits, episodes, guests, musical guests, cast member names (besides Michael Richards and Melenie Chartoff),would be greatly appreciated. In 1982 I had a number of Fridays shows on videotape but lost them in 83' in a house fire and am now trying to find a way to get copies

Any help or info is very appreciated!!

Thanks Martin Flemming

watched the show somewhat regularly. i remember mark blankfield(sp?) as one of the other major characters on the show. he had a skit where he was some kind of demented pharmacist that popped pills all the time. you mention michael richards. my favorite skit was him playing with the toy soldiers and always having to amputate something.
