Subject: Buy/Sell/Trade board

Is there any interest in something of this nature for 80s related stuff here? I know I have a few items (like about 200 extra TV Guides) from the 80s that I might like to move... it would of course be a buyer beware type of thing though, like an online classifieds...

I think that the Buy/Sell/Trade board would be a hit! I know that I would check it out often for vintage Duran Duran stuff (and maybe even an old Atari 2600)! :)

I've been looking at classifieds software, and even though there are about 30 different packages around, most of them look like crapola... of the few that look like they're worth the trouble, the cost is usually around $100... (the one I have in mind is about $130) so I'd really like to get some user feedback on this before I spend the money... the new advertising on the site is just now starting to cover the software I had to buy already (this messageboard and the voting software) so it's not too big a deal, but I also don't want to waste money either...

I'm heavily leaning towards packages which would allow people to put pictures online with their ads (without requiring a web site, upload right through the browser) what other features do people think might want/need? one of them has a discussion ability right in the ads, another allows for email updates to be sent to people who subscribe when new stuff is added.. etc.

Has anyone seen other classified packages on other sites?

I'd like that. It'd be better than E-Bay, in my opinion.
