Subject: time traveling show

Written By: jamie on 3/13/1999 at 8:23 p.m.

There seem to have been a lot of time travel shows in the 80's. But the one i'm looking for is the one about a young kid who goes back in time with a pocket watch (i think) And theres some other older guy that helps him ( yeah this is descriptive) and i remember he has to help people achieve great things. The one i remember best is about thomas edison and the light bulb. (i'm pretty sure it was late 80's, possibly early 90's) Any help is greatly apprecieated. Thanks - jamie

That would be "Voyagers". I loved that show in 5th grade. The older guy was named Phineas Bogg if I remember right, a take off on Phileas Fogg, of "Around the World in 80 Days".
