Subject: trying to find an 80's icon to dress up as

Written By: Nicol on 3/31/1999 at 7:45 a.m.

Hi, hope that you can help. I have to find an 80's female icon to dress up as, as I am shortly going out to work in Ibiza as a rep, and we have a 80's theme night. Any suggestions would be gratefully received.....

Olivia Newton-John. You could wear a headband, ankle warmers, lots of pinks and reds.

What about Cyndi Lauper, Madonna, Nancy Reagan (with a "Just Say No" button), or you can wear a workout suit (complete with headband and leg warmers).

Are you looking for a music icon, or a film icon? Madonna and Cyndi Lauper are always good ones, or Molly Ringwald from Pretty in Pink. Or Princess Leia. hehehehee.

I think Pat Benetar or Joan Jett would be awesome icons to dress up as. Cyndi Lauper and Madonna would also be good.
