April, 1987 number two was probably "Don't Dream It's Over" which ranks above all other songs that reached #2 in 1987 according to Billboard Top 1000 Singles 1955-1992. The ISBN is 0-7935-2072-X. The bar code is 073999830811. Those are for the book identification. It peaked on April 25th, 1987 and is by Crowded House, a band which a band currently on the charts lists as an influence, you can hear the ringing guitars on Sixpence None the Richer's single "Kiss Me", which I love.
