Written By: Curtis Crichton on 4/4/1999 at 4:15 a.m.

I need info for a project on the 80's. What trasnportation was invented/improved or used greatly in the 80's. I have all the popular cars. I heard that subways were being used more. Also what were the most common forms of comunications? I thought internet started in the 80's, but just as email and message boards. Were the done on commodores? I need pics of all these things too. Any help would be great. Emailing me with info/pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Curtis.

A couple of popular cars that were introduced in the 80s were the Delorean (Back To The Future fame) and the Yugo (an aluminum can on wheels basically).

I also remember that the compact disc was introduced in 1983 by Sony.
