Subject: PRIZES!!!

Written By: Crystal on 4/8/1999 at 12:02 a.m.

Okay I told you all about our upcoming 80's party right? Well with the invites we sent out 7 pages of trivia questions to each couple. Since that is a lot of work we want to give a really great prize to the couple that gets the most right. WE CAN'T THINK OF ANYTHING GOOD!!! Can you please help us out? We need something that is worth doing all those questions and something that we are able to find easily enough nowadays. Some other prizes we already have for other things are collector's comic books, Motley Crue collector albums, Motley Crue collector tour book, two 80's cd's, Motley Crue Uncensored, Breakfast Club, Top Gun. So we need something bigger and more meaningful. Thanks a bunch.

This may be a weird suggestion, but I recently saw on ebay.com that someone is selling a couple of Delorean toy cars like from Back To The Future. I found the same car at www.universalstudios.com. Click on Shop, then Toys & Collectibles, then on Doc Brown's remote control car. It looks pretty sweet. The car lights up, makes the cool sounds, and the wheels fold under and back out, like from BTTF part 2. I think the price is $24.95, but I'm not certain.

What about and 80's gift basket? Like a cd, movies, and whatnot. Like maybe All three back to the future movies and Top Gun or something like that and then throw in a couple of cds. (two really good mix cds are - Ulitmate New Wave Party 98 on ARISTA records and Classic MTV class of 1983 on Rhino records. The second is EXCELLENT but they are both really good) and then there is also a GREAT book out called "Who Can It Be Now?" its a lyrics game that is CHOCKED full of music from the 80s and infrmation on them and its hilarious! you need to check out this book! Finally, throw in some nostalgic items like the rubiks cube, maybe some posters of bands or soloists from the 80s. Well, hope this helps somewhat. And have fun with your party! It sounds GREAT! - jamie
