I totally have to agree that the 80s was the best. I was born in 1982 which I guess makes me a child of the 90s, but I hate the 90s. In the 80s the music was danceable, the movies were extremely cool and it was fun and cheerful unlike the 90s. The 90s are bleak, painful and filled with crappy music and movies. Britney Spears? I'd prefer Debbie Gibson or Tiffany myself. The Backstreet Boys, while they keep the 80s "boy band" sound alive, aren't really all that good. Don't get me started on Puff Daddy...Too late! Puffy is the antichrist of the music world. He is mutilating the 80s to create his hits. If you want to see more on my hatred of him, pay a visit to ChuckyG's Remake Fakes! page and look under the entry for Gloria Estefan and The Miami Sound Machine's "Bad Boys" and you'll see a rant I wrote about him. Will Smith's "Miami"? Give me Jan Hammer's "Miami Vice" theme instead. Teen TV and movie stars of today? I'll take the Brat Pack, thank you very much. I prefer Madonna "The Material Girl" over Madonna "The Spiritual Girl". The 80s were the best! If they ever invent time travel, I'll be seeing you in 1982.

Keep the 80s in your hearts and minds, Sincerely, John Kilduff

i love the 80s too but id really rather not see big hoop earings that hang down past your shoulders and 6 inch bangs return.
