HELP ME! What were those sunglasses, most of them you saw were black, with the leather from the side of the frame to the earpiece and usually had the cloth string attached to hold them around your neck? Hope I've been explicit enough! Please respond to my e-mail address at MrsBLP@aol.com

Those would be mountaineering glasses, for extreme weather conditions. They had curved, bendable ear pieces too. I had a pair when I was in high school, don't rememeber the brand, but I picked them up while skiing. You could probably find some at a store like REI or NorthFace, or any other extreme sporting goods store like that.

They were called Glacier Glasses.

I think that Swiss Army (the pocketr knife makers) make a pair of glasses just like that
