Subject: Details Magazine

Hey, I got a small review this month in Details magazine, I figured I'd share the write up with everyone...

Details, Sept. 1998

Chucky G's Eighties Web Page
www.worcestermass.com/80s
Chucky G is so steeped in '80s culture, we need to stage an intervention. Relive the Roxy Music, the Molly Ringwald-laden movies, and the politics (who really cared about the Falklands?) Take the exhaustive '80s lyrics quiz. And don't you forget about me.

I'm pretty psyched... it's the first time I've ever seen my web site in a paper before someone tells me about it.. and the first time the new site has been mentioned... which I guess makes my fears that no one could find the new site seem pretty silly in retrospect...

They also have a small section on various reunion tours this year, which will probably appear on a page when I get a chance...

WHOA, congratulations!!!! Details magazine!! A NATIONAL publication! Wow...this is too cool!

I'm proud of you, fellow '80s lover/Duranie, and hope that you'll continue to add on to this already-jam-packed site! Super! (Yeah, it's a '70s word...ok, so today I watched "Saturday Night Fever"...I'm still an '80s lover!)

ANYWAYS, congratulations...you deserve it.

Diane

I got your URL from Details. Your site is the best! I was born in 1973 and I LOVE to remember the 80s. I definitely need a few sessions to get through all the great stuff. Thanks for lots of enjoyment and congratulations on the review. I'll tell my friends:)

That is how I found this website last week, and now I find myself checking it everyday, and I enjoy participating in the messageboard Q&A.

Much deserved recognition for a super page!! Isn't it great to be appreciated! I think that traffic problem you were worried about before has now been allieviated. However, if these people think they can stage an intervention, I think they are mistaken. Maybe we who are the eighties freaks should stage an intervention on the rest of the world.

And yeah, I did care about the Falklands.

Congratulations and many happy hits 4 U!!!
