Subject: A movie I can't seem to remember...
I was very young and seem to remember watching a movie on TV (we didn't have a VCR at the time, or maybe it was a dream...) but the only thing I remember is these people (just preteens I think) getting into this cylindrical contraption on the left of the screen. The top started to compress, it looked like an old fashioned air pumpy thing used to keep people breathing in hospital ER rooms in the late 70s early 80s. Anyhoo, it would squash these people into what looked like a vinyl record, side "a" showing the top of their head, or face if they happened to be looking up, and side "b" showing the soles of their shoes. They records were stored in an upright holder on the right of the screen. The process could be reveresed, turning this vinyl record into an actual person. My fiance thinks I'm crazy and it's just a memory of my weird mind at work at a young age. help.
