Subject: 80s theme decorations?

Written By: Jill on 5/10/1999 at 1:03 p.m.

I have to decorate a table, or booth, for my daughter's spring fair. Her class has the 80s for a theme. I am having a hard time coming up with 80s ideas. The 50s, 60s or 70s seem so much easier to identify with specific images. Any ideas? Thanks.

Try mini-Rubik's cubes, E.T. anything, compact discs, black and white checkered tennis shoes, pictures of Ron and Nancy Reagan.

Neon colors (if they clash, so much the better), sparkles and glitter. Add a few pix of the "brat pack" actors. Make sure everything is chrome and glass - no natural fibers.

Try and get a Rubik's Cube in there somewhere, too.
