Subject: This might be a hard one...

I know some of the lyrics, but not the singer or song title. It's a fairly popular song as far as I know, but no one I know remembers the name. It's an 80's song by a male performer. The end of one of the verses is "...we're only human after all" then there's a high-pitched male voice in the backgound that begins to sing as the artist begins to sing the chorus. Part of the chorus goes "There's somthing about you...baby, (so right?)" "I can't live without you..." I can't remember much else. They always play it when I'm in the car and they've NEVER mentioned who sings it. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks

Something About You by Level 42 - it can be found on an 80s compliation called 80s greatest rock - I don't know which volume though - these "80s greatest rock" CDs are pretty common and are in most music stores, though you may have to order the one with Something About You on it.....it is truly a great song, though!

I'm pretty sure you're thinking of "Something About You" by Level 42. "Cause there is something about you, baby, so right, can't live without, baby, tonight." This is what you're looking for not The Human League. The album it's on is called "World Machine" I believe - big pink nuts & bolts on the cover with yellow lettering. When it was popular I was out driving one afternoon when someone fell asleep at the wheel and hit me straight on. I was okay but my vehicle was a total loss. The accident turned off my engine and everything was silent except for that song blaring. It's a great song!. Keep in touch!

The song is "Something About You" by the English group Level 42. It came out in the Spring of '86 and I know is on Back to the 80's from Westwood. Not sure of their web address-but it should not be hard to find.
