What ever happened to Billy Ocean? Where is he and is he still performing?

I heard a strange rumor that he died, but I never saw an official story.

Billy is still alive and kicking....I think he just sort of vanished just like all those other great 80's icons.

I tried his label, Jive Records, a while back, but never heard a response from them.. I think Mr. Caribbean Queen is probably sittin' back and relaxin' in the Caribbean... at least VH-1 hasn't done a Behind the Music special yet.. if he did, we could expect a new album any time now...
