Subject: A song I'm looking for

Written By: Xavier on 6/22/1999 at 3:34 a.m.

You see theres two songs I can't seem to find in any site the problem is one on the songs I don't even know which group sings it: Name of the song: NATION/some of the lyric(Children don't you listen to your father, father look at your children and see, get it, get it on, get it on,.....down around the nation).

And for the second song I know Steve Perry is the singer, and I also know that it's in the soundtrack to Quest For Camelot (but the lyrics aren't even in the soundtrack.) Name of the Song: I STAND ALONE.

Please help find a site where I can find these songs, or tell me if I need to give up.

I would apreciate any help, thanks.....

I think I might ID the first song as Feargal Sharkey's "Listen To Your Father." He was lead singer for The Undertones from Northern Ireland and sang with a raspy voice. It was a hit in the UK, but not in the US. As for searching for music, try www.musicfile.com and www.gemm.com. I do see an import of the Feargal Sharkey 12 inch single. If you can tell me that the singer had a rough, unique voice, I bet that is the 1st song. I have only heard the song once, so I am not sure if it mentions "get it on, get it on" though. Good luck.
