Subject: Who thinks MTV has gone downhill?

Do you agree that MTV has gone downhill? They played great videos in the 80s, had the best VJs..Martha, Nina,Alan,Mark, and J.J. I wished they would bring back the 80s videos!!!

Ditto here too. My fond memories of mtv are quite different from the crap channel they call mtv today. I Remember when it was videos like at least most of the day. I cant remember anything else on mtv but nonstop videos. When the 90's hit it all went to crap. Me and some friends were always stuck to the tube watching video after video for hours and then head off to a friends house or go out and roam. Now im just waiting for an 80's channel that shows videos nonstop. Does anyone remember Headbangers ball on mtv?

All I can say is, ¿Dónde están los videos? I loved "Beavis & Butt-Head" but the "Diarrhea," er, "Daria" spinoff sorta sucks. Other than that, where can I find the videos? Probably on M2. VH1 calls itself "music first" but it should be "crap first, music second." Again, when was the last time you found a video on VH1 that wasn't part of a program? And now it's even gone over to CMT(V), the country music video channel! They play more videos than MTV and VH1 combined but now programming is taking over that channel too!

Oh man, where do I begin?I used to love watching "Post Modern Mtv" and "120 minutes" (luckily,I taped alot of those videos),that's where I practically developed my identity growing up!I remember being in elementry school and my favorite bands were Human League,Depeche Mode and Modern English...where else but Mtv could a little kid get into that kinda stuff?Nowdays it's just crapola,I'd rather watch VH1!I miss all the videos by the "real" alternative bands...not this suburban punk crap they have now.It makes me feel old.
