Subject: forgotten songs
Hi! We are looking for two things. First do you remember the KILLER DWARVES? They had a cool song in 1989 we think, that's all we know other than it was a ballad. The other is a song called the HOLIDAY SONG not Madonna, but it was out in 1987 or 1988 and i don't remember who sings it. They played it on college radio stations. thank you much!

Found the Killer Dwarfs on www.musicfile.com. By the "not Madonna," do you mean "Holiday Rap" by MC Miker G and DJ Sven? It was the same music as Madonna's song with a broken English rap (hey their English is better than my Dutch - so can't complain).

"Stand Tall"
The video featured the band "producing" their own record (ie popping it in the microwave and wrapping it with Saran wrap.) Cool song. It was a "rocker." I don't remember the ballad.
