Subject: McDonalds Moon Guy and Max Headrom

Written By: Bryan on 6/27/2000 at 1:11 a.m.

OK, what ever happened to the McDonalds moon guy who used to play the piano? I used to be afraid of this guy because he had a moon head, but he was an ok guy. THen McDonalds canned him! Urg! I also thought he and Max Headrom were in the same boat. I mean, I used to have a Tee Shirt with his face on it, but I dont think I ever quite got what he was! I even thought I saw him on the TV show ALien Nation once, but my mother informed me that it wasnt him. :-( Please someone help me with these missing puzzles to my very very sheltered childhood. Thanks,

Bryan

OK, what ever happened to the McDonalds moon guy who used to play the piano? That was "Mac Tonight" and I'm not sure why he was canned. If I remember it right he was played by someone famous (older) that I can't remember.

Max Headroom was cool, here is a good site to check him out.

McDonald's revived the MAC TONIGHT campaign just a few years ago again.
