Subject: Messageboard MAY be unavailable this weekend

I've been long delaying the upgrade, but this software is very out of date at this point, so I need to do an upgrade (also on the other sites, amiright.com, inthe70s, inthe 90s, worcestermass.com) so if stuff looks screwed up either Saturday or Sunday, it's due to the upgrade..

I really can't upgrade and keep the software running at the same time, otherwise I wouldn't bother with this warning >grin<

well.. hopefully the new features will be worth the risk of Liz losing her life for the weekend >grin<

hey, it's like July 4th next week, I doubt anyone will even log in this weekend!

umm.. the new stuff that will appear (brief list of stuff):

spell checking user profiles smiley code stuff database for messages (messages should post faster) top posters list (I think we already know who will appear there)

I'll also have the ability to moderate all messages being posted, for those rare instances we're barraged with messages from people trying to spam the site (ie. I can preview all posts to prevent abuse, I can turn it on when trouble begins, turn it back off when the troublemakers get bored)
