Subject: Does anyone care what I look like?

Written By: ChuckyG on 6/30/2000 at 2:57 p.m.

I've been reading a lot of user interface stuff this week, and one of the things this one author keeps bringing up, is that there should be a picture of the person who is writing a column (or running an entire site) on a seperate bio page..

I keep thinking about putting my picture up on a page like that, and can't stop laughing at how many different ways it can be defaced by people and passed around.. and how many women will just go nutty for me once they see how cute I am, and I'll be flooded with emails of marriage proposals... >evil grin<

so my question is.. does anyone actually look at pages like that? little bios of who the person is, their picture, etc.?

Hey, it isn't the color of one's skin, but the content of their character that makes the person, to paraphrase MLK. In short, I don't really care what you look like. Besides, if you're as cute as you claim to be what happens to me if my wife sees your picture? You wouldn't want to be responsible for a broken home would you? BTW, if anyone is interested in my appearance...

Actually, I have a confession to make... that red ribbon is one I added to the photo later just to boost my self esteem. LOL!!
