Subject: Trying once again...

Written By: Anelim on 7/10/2000 at 5:52 p.m.

I've posted this message months ago and here i go again...
I'm looking for a song, middle'80s, a man's voice like Martin Fry (ABC) or Tony Hadley(S.Ballet)
The chorus goes like:
"I'm not at home to heartache, let me go, please!"
At the final:
"I've turned the pages as fast as I can, I can't recall a boy(or a voice...)"
(Sorry about my english....)
Thanks in advance!

This is just a stab, as I don't have the song handy, but could it be "Let Me Go" by Heaven 17??? They were a British pop band from the early to mid '80s, in the same mold as fellow Brits ABC and Spandau Ballet (whom you mentioned). The song was a minor hit here in the U.S. in the Winter of '83...

I'm afraid "Let me go" is not that song but thanx a lot for your response!(I've listened it at imusic.com.)I didn't say that the song I'm looking for has an introduction with strings and then, an harmonica's solo.
