YEAH!!!!!! YEAH !!!!! YEAH !!!!!! YEAH !!!!!!

It's true! Yes! I just wish they had picked it up before the show totally died . . . but hey, it's something. At least it's back on the air, if only in reruns.

Key thing from Maureen Smith's statement:

"We look forward to building on this terrific series' loyal following and making it a
key part of Fox Family's adult-targeted primetime line-up." said Smith. "FREAKS
AND GEEKS speaks to a diverse audience about trials and tribulations that
everyone faces in high school, and is a perfect addition to our adult-driven prime
time line-up."

Notice the word "ADULT." THAT is where NBC totally botched up. They weren't pitching it to adults, they pitched the show to TEENS. Now, I know that some teens would appreciate the show (especially some of the younger people on this board), but I don't think a lot of other teens got it. It seemed that NBC was trying to pitch this to the "Dawson's Creek" kind of demographic which was totally stupid. Common sense would reveal that Dawsons's Creek would win: the actors all look like models, it's a soap opera, and the characters are always having sex. This this the complete opposite of "Freaks and Geeks." Which show would you think most teens would watch?

Finally, the show is on a network that understands! Thank you Fox Family Channel!

May the show do well at its new home.
