Subject: 80's clothing
Hi, I'm at a total loss. I'm 18 and I'm in a pageant who's theme is Totally 80's. Since I live in a small town and don't have much money is there any suggestion on a costume that i could whip up for that particular section of the pageant? Thanks, Paige

Desperately Seeking Susan. That movie will show you how the 80's (and on...) pop icon Madonna dressed. She invented a great deal of it, so check it out!

Well, first of all, you need big hair. That is a classic trademark of the 80's. High top tennis shoes with slouch socks would also be good with really tight pants. You also need a tee shirt that comes off the shoulders a little bit, preferably with an 80's rock band on the front, and tie it to one side. You also need big earrings and a big ugly belt. Some bright pink lipstick should finish it off nicely along with lot's of blue eyeshadow. Hope this helps a little. You might want to go to a thrift store to find some of this stuff.
