Subject: Challenge; looking for song, only know some lyrics
Hi all,
10 years ago my house burnt down I and I lost all my personal belongings including my music collection (mainly tapes in those years). Thanks to MP3 and the internet I have been able in recent months to find many of the "lost songs" on the web again. However, there is one song (slow ballad) from around 1984-1989 that I can't find..perhaps somebody recognises it..sung by a woman, unfortunatley I don't know who this is. I had this song on a tape together with Wipeout from the beach boys/fat boys so it must have been in the same month/year as the tape was a hit collection;
Lyrics go something like this;
...if my love, wasn't ..with you tonight..
But I love you, the same way as ...
and I am sorry, but I can't be with you tonight..

sorry, I know it isn't much, but if somebody knows which song this might be I would be very greatful. I think the title could be only want to be with you or something like that!

Sorry kees, I'm an 80s whiz (or close to it), but the song does not come to mind. What you can do though is check out http://music80s.tripod.com/, for a great, detailed selection of 80s lyrics, artist names, and years. This is one of the best lyrics sites I've seen so far so check it out. Peace!
