Subject: Thrashing Doves
Ok. I wonder if anyone has heard of a late 80's alt rock band known as The Thrashing Doves.
I have two (the only known two) audio cassettes :
"Bedrock Vice" (87)
"Trouble In The Home"(89)
Do you know anyplace I can find the CDs of these two albums or anything else by TD?
The audio tapes are still in great condition-and I play them frequently!But alas, they may not last forever.I'd rather be safe than sorry.
Both had been produced or co-produced by Jimmy Ovine (!)
Both were released on A&M records.
Also, I wouldn't mind getting my hands on Little America CD's...got the self titled album on aud cassette and "Fairgrounds"...
The gag is, both these bands were on the rise in popularity by thier second albums-then they disappeared off the map!
