please help me.there was a band in the mid eighties that wrote a song about a family member dying an uncle i believe, but anyway it was an all girl band and i thought the name of the band was Sapphire but i cant seem to find that band anywhere does it exsist or did i mentally make it up?help me please!!!!!!!!

I believe you're referring to the late '80s/early '90s Latin female singer, Sa-Fire (note spelling - yeah, it's pronounced "Sapphire"). She was best known here in the U.S. for her big hit, "Thinking of You", in the Spring of '89. That may or may not be the song you're thinking of...
