There were so many different fads in the 80's so it really depends. You could go with tight Levis with ripped knees, black tassle boots, any kind of rock t-shirt, Metallica or something. There is the ever popular Madonna look, lots of lace, you've probably seen pictures. There is the Flashdance look, spandex pants and an off the shoulder seatshirt, bright color. With that you would wear scrunched down leg warmers and a white or black dance shoe. You have the Boy George(Mod) look. You'd have to see an old picture of him, it's hard to explain. Another suggestion is a flourescent colored RELAX shirt, with spandex pants, the shirt should be long so you could wear a wrap around belt of some sort. Also, you can never fail with parachute pants with zippers. There are so many 80's looks. I fyou want prom type dress, that would be hard. My prom dress was long, lavender, and the sleeves could either be worn off or on the shoulders. I probably have not helped much, probably made you more confused. Oh, one more outfit--Denim mini skirt, blouse with wrap around belt, high heeled pumps with frilly bobby socks. And remember BIG HAIR< BIG EARRINGS---LOTS OF THICK BLACK EYELINER AND MASCARA-These are a must!
